Louise Pitre to headline first ever Alumni Week in Trois-Pistoles

Louise Pitre to headline first ever Alumni Week in Trois-PistolesTo celebrate the 85th anniversary of our French Immersion School in Trois-Pistoles, Quebec, Western Continuing Studies will be holding its first Alumni French Immersion Week from August 13-19.
To commemorate the occasion, French-Canadian Broadway performer Louise Pitre will headline the event with a concert in the town of Trois-Pistoles on Friday, August 18, at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
“Considering there have been more than 25,000 students attending Trois-Pistoles over 85 years, we wanted to offer a special event for our alumni. We hope this new program is only the beginning of a long story,” says André Beaudin, Director, Trois-Pistoles French Immersion School.
Alumni will spend their mornings learning the French language, but much of their week will be dedicated to experiencing true Quebecois culture. Alumni will have the opportunity to participate in activities anywhere from whale watching along the St. Lawrence River, and a trip to Parc du Bic, to a scenic tour of the Basques region and a gourmet dinner with the Director and staff.

Alumni can register for French Immersion Week up to Friday, August 4, 2017.
